Paul Dempsey
The Singer/Lead guitarrist for the Australian rock trio "Something For Kate" (and a highly regarded solo artist) is another proud player of Jim's flawless artworks. After many years of live performances and recording sessions Paul was looking for something new in a guitar. Something new was what he found. Paul sought out Jim and purchased a TONE Deluxe Junior and a TV. Both are still used in his live performances to this day and surely for many shows to come. Mark Seymour Hooked on volume and cold beer, Mark, the founder of the group known as "Hunters and Collectors". A Performer for over 25 years, and now a sucsessfull solo artist, Is yet another musician who has seen the quality and craftmanship in Jim Dyson guitars. Mark currently uses Jim's hand made pickups in 2 telecaster's and also owns a TONE Deluxe Baritone. Mick Turner One of the original members of "The Moodists" formed in 1978. Also known for his works with "The Dirty Three" Mick another prodigy of the 19th century has chosen to use Jim Dyson guitars (wife of Warren Ellis-violin, "The Bad Seeds" "The Dirty Three" also uses a TD Baritone.) Jim Magini A respected contributor of "Midnight Oil" used a TONE Deluxe Baritone for a recording session in 1996. Nick Grant Nick, a melbourne guitarist known for his works in "Truckasaurus" "intoxica" & "The Trailblazers" found perfect tone by using Jim's precision made pickups in his Telecaster. Diesel Johnny Diesel recorded with a TONE Deluxe Junior on the "Short Cool Ones" album with Chris Wilson. Dave Thomas The man behind "Bored", Melb/Geelong punk/thrash/garage/alt rock band, bought the Junior Diesel used on "Short Cool Ones". |
